Catalog Cache not working
CRM SAP Consultant needs help regarding “Catalog Cache not working “
I am working on a ECommerce 5.0 deployment. I’ve noticed the catalog cache is not working. Every time I log in it rebuilds the catalog from R3 vs using the cache. I have debugged the code and I see where it puts the loaded catalog into the cache, but the next time I log in (no restarts or deployments) when it searched for the key in the cache, it returns null.
Are there settings that have to be set up to enable the cache to be used? I thought the settings in the init-config.xml would trigger automatically but when I
look at the ECom Admin Console the Configured expiration time is 0 min and Configured removal time is also 0 min.
I tried extending the init-config.xml but it still registers 0 and 0 after my build and deploy.
Does anyone have suggestions? Is there a server setting outside of the XCM or config files that blows out the cache?
