B1 Integration Component

SAP Business One Integration Component – v8.81 PL05

Hello forum,

I’m experiencing an annoying issue with the B1ic in our offline Test environment at the moment….. and would appreciate your help.

When logging in to the SAP client with the Cockpits enabled and viewing the ‘SALES’ cockpit, the default dashboards provided by SAP do not show. Various errors are shown depending on the scenario in which the B1ic was installed.

Scenario1 – Installed B1ic from the PL05 upgrade media
I can log in to the B1ic environment and view the SLD/Maintenance etc…. without problem. When in the SLD there is no reference to my Test company in the B1i Server sub-menu on the left of the screen, there is four defaults showing : XMLFileSystem / WSforMobile / HAnyforXcelsius / SBO-COMMON

Testing the connectivity in the SLD module for both the database (ʕDI) and JDBC complete successfully

When logging into the SAP client (user B1i has had the password reset and the B1i user has logged in to the client prior to any other user and has the B1IiINDIRECT_MSS and B1i licenses applied) using a temporary license file I get a system message ‘SAP Business One Integration Service failed. Log off from the application; t on and try again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator’. When in the cockpit, the Dashboard says ‘Error: Cannot connect to SAP Business One Integration Service’
The services are running and can be stopped/started at will.

** All anti-virus and firewalls have been turned off during install and testing

Scenario2 – Installed B1ic from the PL00 install media
Again I can log in to the ʕic environment and view the SLD/Maintenance etc…. without problem. When in the SLD there is now a reference to my Test company in the B1i Server sub-menu on the left of the screen, this time there are only two other defaults shown : WSforMobile / XMLFileSystem

Connectivity testing is successfull on both the B1DI and JDBC

Logging into the SAP client (as above), the HOME dashboard with the Browser and Common Functions etc… is available but looking at the Sales Analysis cockpit shows an error “Navigation to the webpage was canceled”

** All anti-virus and firewalls have been turned off during install and testing

In both scenarios, the server shown on the B1ic framework is listed as 1ǻ.0.0.1:8080. If I cahnge the URL for the framework to the broadcast IP address assigned to the NIC (10...*) instead of 127.0.0.1 I am unable to log into the ʕic with the user details for “B1iAdmin”
